The partnership between Carbogatto and TheArsenale took shape in 2020 — at a moment when the world itself was on the verge of suspension. Fresh from its striking debut at EICMA 2019 in Milan, where Carbogatto emerged as a new and confident voice in luxury mobility, the brand was deeply engaged in refining the Carbogatto H7.
This was the point at which TheArsenale and Carbogatto recognized each other — not as brands seeking collaboration, but as visions aligned in values, aesthetics, and a shared understanding of what the future of mobility should feel like. Since then, collaborations have taken form across Macau, Doha, and Dubai, with both sides certain that the most defining chapters are still ahead.
“Pat reached out to me after seeing a photograph of the Carbogatto prototype. His energy is immediate and deeply contagious. It quickly became clear that preparing the Carbogatto H7 — TheArsenale Edition for the opening of TheArsenale in Macau was the natural next step.
The prototype was completed and shipped via Hong Kong to Macau. What followed was an extended global pause. Restrictions in China and Macau endured far longer than elsewhere, redefining timelines, tourism flows, and formats of presence. Yet the project itself did not lose relevance — it gained distance, clarity, and resilience. Some ideas are not delayed by time; they are refined by it.
Pat Meignan. Designing the Future Before It Exists
Patrice “Pat” Meignan operates at the intersection of instinct, culture, and execution. Born in the south of France, he began his career as an Advertising Director for international publications before consistently moving ahead of the curve. In 1997, he founded the cross-cultural magazine BLAST; in 2004, he co-founded Intersection Magazine; and in 2007, he launched the integrated creative agency L’Écurie.
In 2015, Pat Meignan founded TheArsenale — the world’s first platform entirely dedicated to mobility culture, spanning micro-industrial automobiles, marine vessels, and aerospace concepts, as well as bespoke objects and lifestyle creations positioned between art and advanced engineering.
“If James Bond did internet shopping at TheArsenale, there would be no need for Q at all.
Today, under the direction of Pat Meignan and Marcela Meignan (Creative Director), TheArsenale curates and operates some of the most forward-looking garages of the future — in Miami, Macau, Geneva, Doha, Monaco, and, since October 2025, Dubai.
These are not showrooms. They are cultural instruments — spaces where prototypes and production models of the most advanced engineering and design achievements of our time are revealed, often before the world realizes it is ready for them.
Below is an overview of the key TheArsenale spaces where Carbogatto has become part of a global dialogue on the future of luxury mobility — a dialogue defined by precision, emotion, and an uncompromising vision of what comes next.
