A few months later, the first full-scale prototype was assembled. Seeing it take form, the vision moved beyond sketches and models into something tangible. With its streamlined silhouette and distinctive proportions, it subtly echoed the spirit of classic Cafe Racers of the 1950s while drawing from the aerodynamic precision of modern track bicycles. This fusion of influences was more than an aesthetic choice—it hinted at the deeper philosophy of Carbogatto, a brand that bridges the past and the future, blending heritage with innovation.
Defining Challenges, Defining Identity
However, early tests exposed the limitations of this initial design. Despite precise calculations, the frame lacked the necessary rigidity, and the suspension system required significant refinement. It became evident that addressing these challenges would demand not just improvements, but a fresh approach.
It was during this phase that the project received its name—Carbogatto. More than just a title, it marked a turning point in the journey, as the idea evolved from an experiment into a defined identity.
